Cute but cheap
I ordered this cape for my daughter who is always wanting me to tie towels/blankets/etc. around her neck so that she can be a superhero. I knew it would be a success and sure enough-she loves it. However, because of the satiny material, it picks easily and already looks like we've owned in for years (even though it has never left the interior of our home). In additional, the seams aren't sewn well and unravel very easily-I have made countless repairs on our sewing machine. The velcro closure at the neck is ideal, but again, even this started to pull lose after a few time's use. Needless to say it is a year later and well past time to order a new cape. However, this time we will opt for a cape made of a different material in hopes for longer durability.
Daughter loves it!
She is a "super princess" with this cape. We bought one for the dog that sort of matches and the two of them run around the house together capes flying and making us laugh. Great product, made well and durable.
Christmas Princesses
I purchased this item for 2 imaginative granddaughters along with several other gifts to complete their princess wardrobe. The robes were put on as soon as they were unwrapped and were not taken off til bedtime. Now after several weeks of use this has proven to be a good purchase. The cape is completely adjustable with velcro at the neckline; no ties, snaps or buttons to come loose or tear. How nice to see fun powered by imagination rather than batteries.
