I've bought a few Kyjen squeaker mats, and have encountered fabric problems with one of them. I was hoping this one would be OK, but unfortunately not - Kyjen made a very poor choice with the fabric on the back of this toy. The black fuzzy hair falls out so easily - it's like a dog that keeps shedding. I only have to gently run my fingers over it to get a handful of fibres, and that's nothing compared to what a dog might yank out. I even used a sticky lint roller on it, and lifted so much hair it was quite alarming. The entire sheet was covered in black, twice, and then i could still lift fibres with my fingers. ( I often use the lint roller to get dog hairs off other dog plush toys, and have never encountered the fur coming off the toy.) I've also bought other toys with the same texture, but the fibres don't come loose at all, so it's just poor quality fabric here. I hate the thought of a dog simply playing with this and getting a mouthful of furry fibres which would be impossible...
