Without any reviews to go by, I ordered this in an adult large. Even though a size chart is given, I assumed it would run small like most costumes. It fits but a medium would have been a lot more flattering on me. The skirt fit okay but was loose. The pleats aren't real pleats. They are just sewn to LOOK like pleats. So this picture is deceiving as far as the pleats go. The top was HUGE on me and not all that flattering, so that was disappointing. I'm 5'8"/ 138 lb/size 6-8 and have a 34-36 inch bust...I mention all that because I often wish more people would mention it in reviews as I find it helps when deciding on a size. The quality is decent for a costume but if you are looking for an authentic looking cheerleading outfit, keep looking. This is definitely more of a costume for Halloween. Not bad for the price though. I like it but don't love it. Dry clean only.
