Batman Secret Wishes Robin Dress B002AIMED6

Batman Secret Wishes Robin Dress Costume, Red/Green, Plus - 3.5 out of 5 stars from 11 customer reviews

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ ON THIS HUNK OF JUNK!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!
I got this crap in size XS. If you're over 5', the "dress" is not a dress; it's a shirt. You'll need to wear leggings or tights underneath as it will barely cover your rump. The dress is pull over, not zip back, so that's lame. The dress has 2 awkward points at the nipple area so it looks like your nipples are hard when they aren't (I think the points are meant to be "darts" but they're a colossal failure). The slit isn't as high as the picture; it's 2.5", which is actually a good thing since the "dress" is so dang short your goods will be hanging out. The material is very thin, wrinkles quickly, & you can't iron it. Not like the picture.

The "glovelets" should be called glove-less because they don't go past your elbows (they're 9.5"). Not like the picture.

The cape is awkward, short, lame, & not shiny like the dress.

The mask is fugly & very small. It fit my cat's head, but not mine. Not like the picture.

NOW, THE WORST PART OF THIS...

Not perfect, but close enough.
All the bad things are true: The "dress" is short- leggings are a perfect solution. The gloves are not as long as pictured- I wasn't pulling them up all night. The cape is short- no anxiety about it falling in the toilet! The belt is pretty cheap- Honestly, what did you expect? It looked just fine.

The only thing that was a problem was the mask. The band is not NEARLY long enough for anyone's head. Here's what I did: I cut the elastic band completely off the mask. I went to the dollar store and baught a pair of reading glasses, popped the lenses out, and glued the mask onto the frame. I probably would have done this even if the bands were long enough. This way, when I wanted to take the mask off I could just put it on top of my head. A slight modification that was well worth the effort (and the extra dollar).

The bottome line is that you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a movie-quality costume, you're barking up the wrong tree here. If...

Sexy, but false advertising
It looks good, it's sexy, but it's NOT the costume pictured. The gloves are shorter and cut differently, so it's not just the model's proportions are different. Further, the costume in the picture and on the costume insert shows a really sexy neckline, a princess cut, the one shipped is a simple scoop neck.

The other comments about the belt/mask is on target as well. They are poorly sized.

It's a sexy costume, but get it knowing the neckline is't that fancy and you might need to attach the mask to something.
