Costume is above average for a Halloween costume. It is easy to get on and off and has enough room for a coat underneath if it gets a lot colder (I did get the size bigger to accomadate for this). The fins have holes for their hands to come out and the shoe covers have a stap across the bottom to help keep them in place. The bill sticks strait out which makes it super cute.
Penguin costume
My son loves this costume. He wore it everywhere the days leading up to Halloween. He played and played in it and it didn't tear or snag. It looks adorable and cleans up easily. A child of any age could put the costume on by themselves, and the costume is roomy enough that you could layer underneath it in case the weather is cold.

My French grandson loves this costume. He's really into penguins, and was excited to wear it. You helped me make points!
