This costume was just a 1/2 notch better than what you get when you shop at Target - and it was $10 cheaper. My daughter is 8, I got her the size 8-10 and it fit just fine including the neck piece.

cute costume but if you want it to be long like it looks in the picture than you will need to order one size larger.
