This costume is short and wide on my tall thin 7 year old. If I sized down It would have been way too short. For the price it is fair. The purple looks really dark and almost brownish in person. The red is more of a maroon. The colors being darker is fine since it's a "gothic" princess.
Just what I was looking for!
I bought this for a Middle Ages party for my 8 year old. I don't expect it to last forever,but having bought it for 11 $ I thought the quality was much better than what I expected for the price. Most other costumes were much more expensive. I could tell she felt very pretty and "authentic" in it. We have added it to our dress up box and it gets pulled out very frequently. My daughter is a tall 8 year old and the medium fit perfectly.
