I bought this for my small 10 yr old and it fit my small 8 yr old! My 8 yr old wears a size 7 slim pant at the Gap and Lands End, so buy a larger size. The material is extremely thin polyester. It is so thin, in fact, that the play suit/costume was rolled up into the mask for packaging! The quality is very cheap so it's a good thing that it's selling for under $14.
