I bought this costume for my 8 year old nephew. He loved it and it was just right for the climate in the tropics where he lives. Some halloween costumes are too hot for chidren in the tropical areas, but this one was perfect. Of course it was used not just for trick or treating, he wore it to school for the halloween parade and he wears it at home for various games that require pirates, cut throats and cool dudes in costumes. The price was great for the amunt of fun he is having with it.
Differs from the picture
I gave 4 stars to this costume as it largely differs from what is advertised. the top piece is printed although the picture looks like embossed as mettalwork. I ordered 5-6 size and the top piece came short in waist, although the pants are of good size. the waistband is attached to the top and sits actually upper than in the picture,covering the printed metal plates. If it were separate part it would cover the shortness of the top. Nevertheless I rate the item at 4 stars as it still looks good when dressed.
Dastan costume - great but a little small
great but a little small! we got a size 7/8 and it was the size of a 4T, I had to sew in extra material to make it fit.
