For $50.00, I would have expected this costume to be a little more like the picture. While the shirt isn't bad, the pants are horrible! They look like puffy genie pants. Because this is "one size" the back waistband part of the pants is elastic. But for my average-sized boyfriend (5'9", 165 pounds), there wasn't anything he could do to make them fit. The tie is really bad too... made out of the same cheap polyester materiel and it's near impossible to make it look right. The hat is ok. It's actually probably the best part of the costume although in real life, it looks more like Gilligan's Island than the US Navy. If you're looking for a military uniform/costume, I would recommend an Army/Navy Surplus Store.

The price and fabric general quality of this costume is really good. It looks like a real one military outfit.
Junk costume! Breaks easily!
I bought several of these costumes for a play I was doing. They looked fine. However, the zippers on the pants keep breaking! So far, I've had to sew 3 zippers shut because the zipper pulls have fallen off! Luckily, the waistband is so stretchy that the boys can still put the pants on with the zipper sewn closed. Don't bother wasting your money on a piece of junk!
