looked good regardless of problems
Everyone loved the costume and overall i was pleased.

it was VERY short. i wore a black skit underneath and it made it look more pulled together. the boots have elastic straps to hold them down but they broke very shortly after putting them on. they are not sewn on very well. to solve this problem i pinned them where they belong and it wasn't a big problem, just inconvenient. i ordered a medium and although i am not very large it fit a little snug but was fine. i would suggest you not order a small unless you are very tiny. the hat was the only thing that stunk. it was very poorly made. it did not look like a hat and did not even fit. I used another pirate hat and a sword to complete the look. the scarf was a great touch and the overall look was cute.

if you can get this costume at a good price i think it is worth it. most costumes are not very well made so all my problems with it were doable.

I like the fact that it's a complete outfit in one package. The blouse & skirt are sewn together as one article of clothing. The belt was too loose for me though! But it's very comfy to wear & I got compliments from whoever saw me wearing it!

Very cute, but with minor issues.
I wore this to a Renaissance Faire, bought last minute from a regular store, not amazon. It was adorable and I got compliments but I didn't wear a couple pieces: the boot covers and the hat. The boot covers were pretty weird, I guess if I had slightly shorter and bulkier boots it would work but they looked to me like squished Eskimo boots. The hat probably would have been fine but it was all crushed from being in a package and like I said, it was really last minute and I liked the way the adorable red headscarf looked. The dress stayed together and in place throughout the Faire, through sitting and running and dancing and a bit of wrestling. The belt got a bit crumpled but not so bad for so cheap. The material is nice and breezy, which is good because it was warm out and I wore leggings and leather boots with it. All in all, cute, cheap, flattering, and comfy.
