Great quality for the price, and i LOVE that it clips on (instead of strapping on like similar products). I would be hesitant clipping this straight onto natural hair however, I think it's just a little heavy and could pull or tear. I wore it with a wig so it worked perfectly and was exactly what I wanted.
Really more victorian than steampunk
I do not really see how this mini-hat comes to be 'steampunk', but it will greatly fit your 'victorian' set for some ComicCon or even some Adult Role Playing ;) Build quality is good, clamps are nice and tight, but laces are so-so. In general, if you are not into leathermaking (so you can craft a nice small hat yourself) - this is a nice purchase
Too heavy
Too big to comfortably sit on your head right. Fell right off and/or pulled my hair. Looks good but I'm not able to wear it.
