My four-year-old wanted to have a costume birthday party, thus began the search for an adult Indian costume. I wanted something that wasn't too revealing, but I also didn't want to look like a nun. This costume was perfect! I was impressed w/the quality, esp. for the price. (You get everything shown but the feather.) My only complaint is it was very tight in the chest (and I tried on 2 mediums and 1 small - they all fit the same in the chest.) I'm not well-endowed (probably average), so if you were bigger on top, you might have trouble getting this costume zipped. The chest issue is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Aside from that, I thought it was a great costume, and I got a lot of compliments on it at the party.
Good Material but somewhat hard to size
I really like this costume for the price. I was looking for a costume that was somewhat warm and not too inappropriate. I was happy with the material. When I was shopping for the costume, I wasn't sure what the shoe covers were but they ended up being perfect for the shoes I had. I wore normal heels with my dress and the shoe covers in the picture go over the shoes and velcro at the top. The dress is comfortably long in the back (I felt totally comfortable sitting down and bending over) and the front was somewhat modest. I am 5'7" and 145 lbs and I got a large because I read that the top could be too tight if you have boobs. I felt that the large was a great size for me except the arm straps were too loose and so were the shoe covers. But I was able to use safety pins to pin those items. Overall, the product was great.
