We used this for a re-enactor of St. Patrick on a St. Patrick's Day float in our small town while rejecting the traditional bishop's mitre, staff, and green chasuble to get a more rustic feel associated with fifth century Ireland. It must have convinced a few people because our float won first place. The robe is well made and just heavy enough worn over street clothes to stay warm in mid-March. We will use it for other purposes as well after this because it is a very adaptable costume piece.
