The description says it includes shoe covers and tiara. It does not include shoe covers but does include wings and a wand (which would have been nice to know since I purchased them seperately to complete the costume). So far the lights don't work - one of the batteries was heavily corroded. I've cleaned out the corrosion (as best I could) and will try new batteries to see if it will work. The batteries should come separately or include a protective seal prior to customer receipt.
Halloween Fun
My 4 yr. old daughter fell in love with this costume on Amazon.com. She had to have her twinkle fairy costume. And it was a hit on trick-or-treat night. We paired the costume with nude hose and silver shoes with lacey socks. We added some curls to her hair...lightly did her make-up...she was the perfect fairy. Every home we went to thought she was sooo beatiful.
The bodice of the outfit was perfect. We loved having long sleeves for a cool evening of trick-or-treat. The elastic on the wings was a little too big...we had to safety pin it to fit her, but not a big deal. We were disappointed with the head piece...the ribbons on the side fell off before we were out the door. By the end of the night the cardboard on the head piece had broken. She wasn't able to wear the head piece for her pre-k costume party the next day. Also, the twinkle lights stopped working shortly into the night on trick-or-treat. The battery had not run out...there is a short in the wire. It...
Lights don't work well
It is a beautiful costume but the lights don't work very well. I sent the first one back because they did not work at all. The would light up occassionaly on the second one. My daughter still loves it even if the lights don't work well. Oh... and it is not a super itchy costume, which is great!
