Staticky Cape
For some reason, the cape I received was horribly staticky. I tried rubbing it down with a fabric softener sheet and it was still a little staticky. I ended up spraying with an anti-static spray and that worked pretty well, so be prepared. I liked this cape because it's a little shorter than the others and it looks nice. I have pets and I think the static attracted pet hair, so it was a bit of a pain to keep clean.
Overall, it worked well for what I needed it for. The setup was a little odd since I was busy trying to get the static to go away and then was working to get pet hair off of it. At the end of the day, it was a good item and kept me warm on a cool night at a masqerade ball and I plan to use it again.
The photo shows an almost dark teal cape, but the color is black. It's a crushed velvet type of material, so it shows different colors or shades with different angles.
thought it was green...
I guess this is my fault, but I thought the cape was green, as it seems to be in the picture. I didn't notice that it was actually black, and I was looking for a green cape.
