I decided to do a family theme while my children are young and will let me dress them up as whatever I want. I dressed my 2 1/2 year old daughter as Elmo, my 7 month old son as Cookie Monster and my husband was Bert. I obviously went as Big Bird. Overall I was very happy with my purchase. I have never received more compliments for a costume than I did for this one though the compliments were mostly to the group as a whole. I saw someone complained about the leggings being cheap however I disagree. The orange part is nylon material but it was well constructed and there were no pulls or tears and we wore our costumes multiple times this year. The part in between the toes did get uncomfortable after awhile but there's a little velcro strap so I just let it go loose and then it felt fine. They did slip a little down my legs but nothing too bad, I'm sure it depends on the person if you'd have this problem or not and how severely. The dress was cute. A teensy bit big but nothing too bad...
Bad quality
For $50, you'd think they'd use better materials for the dress...I ordered a small. Then fretted about it maybe being too small.
Well, I needn't have worried. I could've ordered an XXS, and it would've fit perfectly. This dress was ill-fitting and made me look 3 months pregnant. The stockings wouldn't stay up, I finally had to take them off. The dress material made me itch.
It looked awful.
Not so happy
I did receive this package within a few days of purchasing. I was happy with that. However, the costume didn't work out for me. So I followed the instructions within the five day limit for returning and I have yet to hear back from the seller. It would seem I am now stuck with something I can't do anything with.
