I was so excited to receive my Halloween costume in the mail today. This is the most money I've ever spent on a Halloween costume (partly because I had an Amazon gift card to use!) but it is so much nicer than the cheap-looking costumes you get at run of the mill Halloween stores. The fabric looks and feels like real velvet and silk. The fit in medium is good - I'm 5'8" and usually wear a size 6 - and it is flattering and classy without being too sexy - I needed a costume that is appropriate to wear to an elementary school. Two minor problems though: the gem on the brooch of the cape fell off as soon as I took it out of the garment bag and will have to be super-glued back on; and there is a small weird stain on the chiffon just under the belt, not very noticeable but I still expect things to be stain-free when I buy them new.
About What I Expected
It's a very beautiful costume, made for someone with an enormous bust. I was pretty sure that would be the case, so I bought it knowing I would have to pay for alterations, but that does knock its rating down a star. It arrived in good condition with just a few stray threads. Keep in mind when buying costumes that they're COSTUMES and WILL be made of inferior materials since they're only meant to be worn one day of the year; that said, it is very nice for what it is.

i was thinking of using this outfit for my manga i'm gonna create same design but just different colors i love it though i wish i had it too look at for inspiration and i wish it didn't cost so much i only have 20$ in my pocket right now
