I was nervous about this based on other reviews, but it was the only Prime option, so I took a gamble because I needed it for a party.
It arrived on time, and I tumbled it in the dryer for a few minutes to take the wrinkles out.
It looks FANTASTIC! Lots of details, the fabric is nice and the detail on the lace, and front buttons is great. AND it is REALLY tight in the arms. I'm 5' 7", 38 DD and 160#....so not a twig. I got the large based off other reviews and the body fit, but the arms were super tight.
I did rip the side seam out before we got to the party....so if you're a big gal, this is probably not your costume. Look at some of the reviews on the other Marie costumes. This one is pretty, and I was a huge hit at the part (I just held my prop with the hand that had the side split, so no one noticed, but still :(
PS -- make sure you grab some ruffle butt panties or hot pink boy shorts to wear underneath
Nice dress but sizes are too small
we bought two dresses for me and my friend. i asked for S size (for an idea i always buy XS from BEBE for example)
but the dress we received was way too small. i needed help to put it on and off and the skirt was toooo short, you could see the underwear. i had to come up with the emergency solution and find a white miniskirt or shorts to wear underneath. Same story with my friend. She was in doubt whether to order S or M, ordered M at the end but it was still way too short.
other then that we had a great success at the party wearing those dresses... the quality is very good!!!
just bear in mind the size when ordering.
Costume
The fit chart was misleading. I love the costume and would prefer not to return. However, the fit was completely off.
