I bought the Mario costume to wear at my daughters' field day at school. The kids loved it. My only complaint is that it was very tight fit especially from the shoulders down to the...uh...crotch. I'm 5'10" and 180 pounds so the Large costume I ordered should have fit more comfortably. Also, keep in mind that you'll need to purchase separate white gloves to complete the outfit. I went to Walgreen's and bought a pair of moisture jams for a few bucks. Overall, I'm glad I bought Mario--the costume just didn't provide the kind of manly comfort one would expect.
Was too small for me.
I am not a very tall man ,only 5' 7" but this costume cut into my nether regions like it was trying to kill my future offspring. I ordered the medium because that's what I normally wear, but it ended up making me look ridiculous since my "man parts" were visibly displaced by the crotch region of the costume. I recommend ordering a size larger than what you would normally buy.
Moose knuckles abound
Prior reviews about being short in the crotch were accurate. I bought the Luigi costume and my husband the Mario one. He is about 60lbs heavier than I am and got the largest size whereas I easily fit in a medium, I couldn't stop laughing when he put his costume on. It was completely inappropriate for view in public, but did make for a good laugh. Sadly, it was wasted money, as he will not be able to wear this, and there doesn't seem to be a way to make any alterations.
