I bought the scooby costume for my 6-year old son for Halloween. He is a huge Scooby/Shaggy fan and was excited about dressing as Shaggy. I bought a size that should have been quite large on him because I had heard that the costume ran a bit small. My son is big for his age (typically wears a size 7). So, I ordered a 10/12. When the costume came, I (as expected) had to shorten the pants, and the shirt was a bit big, but that was okay. The wig, however, was still way too small. I could not fit it onto my son's head. I ended up cutting the seams of the wig, allowing me to alter the size slightly. It then barely fit on his head, but did not stay on well at all. Also, the goatee that comes with the costume did not stay on and I ended up drawing on a goatee with makeup, which worked okay. I am giving 3 stars for this costume because the outfit itself seemed to be made well. But, the wig was really not usable.
Shaggy
My son looked adorable as part of the scooby gang. The wig was a little small and the gotee was a lettle itchy. My son lost both pretty quick. It was a good thing he already had shaggy hair!

My middle child just loves Shaggy. We have gone through 3 outfits in one year and I am sure we will going through many more.
