It's cute but seems to run small. My daughter got it last year for Christmas when she was 5 and she's pretty tiny and I thought it was short then. Being that it's a mermaid I thought it would be long (around her feet) but the tail goes to the back of her knee. She doesn't use it much for that reason.
Mermaid costume
This costume was purchased for Halloween for a 4-year-old. It is pretty, but did not fit very well. Once I altered it to fit, it looked all right, but the tail just got in the way and the skirt part was not very flattering. Not something I would have purchased had I seen it before purchasing.
