This costume was a birthday present for my son.
The costume looks great but the material is incredibly flimsy.
Pair that with the HUGE belt that fit the FATHER of the size 8 boy it was supposed to have fit.
Needless to say, the belt - being very heavy and of a sticky rubbery material - just tore that flimsy costume to shreds within minutes.
I tried to call the vendor but they claim they're having phone trouble. I sent them an email and they asked for more info on September 30 and never got back to me.
I've notified Amazon and I'm returning the costume on Monday.
Guess we'll have to find one at Walmart.Costume just okay, but seller met my needs

LOVE these pajamas for my schnoodle. She fits in it perfectly and the 'flap' is right where her bum is. I wasn't sure if the flap was going to be real or not and I think it would have been adorable if it was, HOWEVER!, I'm so happy with the fabric that it makes up for the lack of a real flap. The fabric is like long john fabric and looks just like real pajamas...you don't have to guess what the outfit is suppose to be.

I think this is a great product that does what it is supposed to do. It arrived very quickly. All the parts are a great quality. The recipients really LUV it!!! The size does run a bit large but thats Okay. My only complaint is in the lab coat. It is a very thin polyester cloth. It contains no cotton as the description said it would when I ordered it. So I am disappointed in that aspect. (The box it came in was large. They could have saved cardboard by using a small box.)Love it!
I was worried that this would be too big for my five year old daughter. She is very skinny and wears a size 6 slim jeans. This fit her perfectly, the pants have an elastic band around them which makes them flexible for the size it specifies. The arms on the robe are a little long but it looks even more realistic when I rolled them up a little. Everything was included as stated in product description.The face cover, shoe covers (she wears size 11 kids and there is more room left for larger size shoes) and the cap are made durable and both stay in place perfectly. I finally went ahead and purchased this costume over some of the other Glinda costumes I'd found because this one looked so nice in the photo. I was very disappointed when the costume arrived to find out that what they shipped wasn't even the same thing as what was shown in the picture. The crown we received is about half as tall, flimsy and doesn't have any of the pretty silver decorations as shown in the picture. The dress was similar, but again, it wasn't as nice as the one pictured. I feel that this was very false advertising and am not at all happy with what we received. I paid $49.95 for a this costume because it looked really pretty in the picture, but I was sent something of much lower quality and not near as cute. If you are going to call it "Super Deluxe" then you really should send a costume that matches what you are advertising!

Bought this Halloween outfit for my daughter,was a little big,but was well worth it,she looked amazing,all her little freinds in kindergarden loved it,along with the teachers.When it comes to sizing of the costumes,it's pretty hard,no five year old is the same size,some are taller or shorter,bigger bone or just smaller.Take your time and read the sizing chart,that's my thought's.Glinda dress and crown a good fit for my pagent grandaughter.

Ok, so I opened up this doggie costume and I must say it is adorable. This is saying a lot seeing as I am not fond of dogs. My girlfriend was so excited and loves it. It fits our little poodle perfectly except the head part is a little large. But other than that is a snug well fitting costume. It has sleeves for the front and back legs so it fits better than usual dog costumes that have the sleeves only in the front. It glows in the dark and it all around pretty sweet. Overall, the costume was a huge hit at the parties I attended. But, I spent a long time modifying it so it wouldn't fall apart on me. The costume is very thin and uses velcro to hold each piece together. Normal moving around caused the velcro to come unfastened. So, I went to the hardware store and bought snaps (like the ones used to button a pair of pants). Not only did these hold the costume together well, but they were shinny and looked great.
Another modification I made was to cut slits into the face mask. This made it breathable. And it actually looked better this way.
Lastly, the front of the costume is pretty exposed. So, you'll want to wear some shorts over the thing undergarment. The undergarment was pretty cheap anyway so I ended up wearing another body suit instead.
My rating is mixed. I give it 5 stars for the end result and 1 star for the mechanics which averages out to a 3. I would recommend it if you don't mind doing a couple of hours...Costume Review

This costume is NOT 100% METAL as the description states - it is 100% PVC (cheap THIN plastic!!!). I feel totally ripped off b/c I did not get what I paid for! Unfortunately, I have no recourse b/c I had no choice but to use the costume for our homecoming parade since we were out of time to find a better one - now I cannot return it. Nice costume for my 5 year old who likes princesses and fairies. We were surprised about the detail of the costume. It has a crown or a headgear that is unique as compared to regular princess crowns. The color combination and the textures of the fabric are great.
Easily, this is one of her better costumes, and she has many. She really looks pretty wearing it. And most importantly - she likes it.

This costume had lots of elements that could have made it a nice costume, but unfortunately it is very cheaply made. The "plus" size costume seemed to have forgotten the the plus....it had a little extra material around the chest and butt, no extra material in length or in the arms. If you have any extra junk in your trunk don't expect it to be covered, I had to add a skirt to it so my 'assets' would be covered. I also had to cut the top band on the arms so I could move. The wig was very thin.

I loved this costume on my 17month old shih tzu!!!!I didn't want him to look like the typical shih tzu costumes so I opted for something a little more "outside" the box!
I bought some fake eggs and sewed three of them onto the costume giving his costume and even more solid breakfast feel! Bacon and eggs was his costume and lets just say EVERYONE who saw him knew exactly what he was.
I did enter him into a few costume contests and we faired pretty well, compared to the overly extravagant costumes that were on display, kind of felt bad for some of those other pups, but hey I was happy and more importantly my dog was COMFORTABLE and adorable in his costume.

The fabric is good. The print of baccon is excellent and the packaging is fun. Only, the top part in the picture does not stay up; it falls down. I have not tried to starch it yet, but I'm tempted to do so.

Our daughter is a tall 3 year old and we ordered a size 4/6 which is a bit roomy, but I wouldn't go smaller. It is perfect so that she can wear it now and will also have room to grow. We have received quite a few compliments on this costume already as she would wear it everywhere if we let her. I am happy with this purchase.Great Costume!
My 3-year old girl LOVES this new Clifford costume! It is very well made and will keep her warm while trick-or-treating. My kid is in between a size 3T and 4T, and the size Small fits her with a little room to grow. My 6 year old grandson asked for this as his "Santa" gift. After reading all of the reviews here, I ordered a large size 14 that is more like a size 6 or 8. Honestly, the quality is very poor. The jacket is thin and see through, with plastic lapels. The buckles are indeed thin plastic, and the belt is super tiny and may not fit his waist. The sash is short also, however there are dime sized pieces of velcro inside the jacket at neck and waist to which the sash attaches poorly. The hat has a small cap...I am trying to stretch it over a baseball cap as I write this review. I did not open the package containing the beard. He also owns a Peter Pan and a Jack Sparrow costume which is of very high quality that you would expect from Disney that his mom purchased at resale for less than $10. Shame on Disney for capitalizing on POTC by offering this shoddy product at an inflated price. Unless it goes on sale for $20 or less.....DO NOT BUY IT. The quality of this costume is just like the ones that are around 30 to 40 dollars. It fits perfectly and comes with so much stuff. The wings are very cool and they go very well with the Outfit. The sleaves can be a little lose and the headband completes the outfit. One problem is that the strap for the dress is WAYY too long. Got this for my son for Halloween since he's big into firefighters at the moment. Figured that since it had an award for quality that it would be comparable to the $50 one I've seen as well. Especially since it was originally priced at $60.
Unfortunately, the material is the cheap, thin polyester-type stuff that tears easily and the patch was glued on, not sewed on (it fell off literally in the first 5 minutes my son was wearing it). Hopefully shouldn't be too big of a deal since I can hopefully sew it back on for him, but for $30, I expected better quality.
The item says it comes with an adjustable helmet, but I originally received only the costume without the helmet. In Dress Up America's defense, when I contacted them about the issue, they shipped a helmet immediately (not adjustable, though) at no extra charge.
It's not a horrible costume, but the award and the price lead you to believe it's a high quality costume. We'll be lucky if this lasts...Don't get suckered into buying this...
I originally intended to buy the Aeromax fire fighter costume for my child, but could not find it anywhere in his size (4/6). This one caught my eye, and since the page stated it was "award winning" I thought this might be a suitable replacement. I was wrong.
First off, instead of being a durable cotton outfit (like the Aeromax) this one is made of a thin polyester material. Not too realistic looking. The "reflector" stripes are just brightly colored strips of polyester and have no reflective capability (as the Aeromax does). The embroidered patch was not sewn on but glued. My son managed to pull it off in about 30 minutes. And the helmet is not adjustable (as the web page states) but is a one-size-fits-all.
Obviously, I was very, very disappointed in this purchase. It's nowhere near worth the $30 they are charging. You'd probably find a similar outfit at some place like Target or Walmart for less than $10.
Buyer beware...Firefighter costume

We ordered this for my grandson to wear in our neighborhood 4th of July parade! He is nine and was so proud and excited to wear it! It was just perfect for the event! We put a little tissue paper in the top of the hat and it held its shape perfectly! The soft polyester fabric will be easy to store and reuse year after year.no recommendation here
what a poor poor quality product...
the hat is made of felt but has no structure in it. So when you out it on it's a big no-no.
it's all polyester made, and doesn't reflect the cute Uncle Sam in the picture.
Regret buying this one.
