"It is a uniform - not a costume!" My five year old LOVES this suit. He thinks the muscles make him tough. We have a few other costumes at our house, but the muscle-padding in this really make my boy think he's a superhero. It is a lot of fun to watch my boys play Superhero Squad. Even though they are rough it has held up to their activities.
It fits well (my 5 year old son is taller than most boys his age, but, thin - my 4 year old son is all bulk but shorter - it fits both just fine).
Awesome costume for my pre-K super hero
My four year old son told me months ago that he must be Captain America for Halloween. As usual, I procrastinated but found this on Amazon for a very reasonable price just days before Halloween. It was delivered earlier than I expected with Prime. He was able to wear it all weekend, to a Halloween parade, and trick-or-treating. I love the cloth mask that covers only the eyes. These are the only masks that my boys will wear. The fit was perfect for my guy. He is between a 4 and 5. We have even washed this. I expect my son will enjoy this for another year before he outgrows it. This costume does not come with a shield. We picked that up at a local store, in the toy section, for 10$.
Grandson's favorite birthday gift
My grandson loves costumes and wears them throughout the year to play in. When he got home from his recent birthday party, he put this costume on and even slept in it that night! He loves it.
