I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday party as she wanted to dress up as Jessie from toy story. It fit her perfectly and everyone at the party loved it. The thing is it is made from really cheap costume material and rips easily. At the end of the night, the costume had ripped from both sides of the body. great outfit but not durable. Also the hat does not stay on at all! She had to sustain it with her hand if she wanted to keep it on, which she did.

My daughter wanted to be Jessie the cowgirl for halloween but it was not available in the stores. So I turned to my ever dependable Amazon. I was reluctant to order because my experience with the costumes-in-a-bag has not been all that great. But I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. My daughter is very tall and thin and I feared that like most of her clothes this would require alterations on my part. But it did not! It is designed with an elastic insert at the waist in the back which made the costume fit nicely without looking baggy. The hat came a little bent from the shipping I guess but still looked great. It does NOT have an elastic band that goes under the child's chin. I found this hat fell of constantly when she was trying it on so I simple modified it by poking small holes in the sides and adding an elastic strap. This made it work perfectly. My daughter got a ton of compliments on her costume because it was rare (since it wasn't available in stores)...
Hat won't fit any head size
I had purchased this for my 3 year old daughter and was very disappointed by the fact that the hat was designed not to fit any head. The hat is made out of foam and the depth of it was so short that it couldn't possibly stay on anyone's head. I tried it on all of my kids' heads, ages 3, 2, and 9 months, my own head, husband's, and to no avail. Do you see how the girl pictured on the advertisement is holding up her hat? Well, that's what my kid was doing too to keep the hat from falling off. As a result, she ended up using it to put candy in her hat while trick or treating. If I had more time, I would have tied a shoe lace to the hat's weaved in design
(the white laced part around the hat) to keep the hat on her head but just didn't have the time to do it.
Why am I ranting about the hat so much? Well, it's because without the hat, no one would know who she is. The outfit is as pictured, cute, colorful and shiny made out of typical thin costume material...
