Great buy!
I bought this for a 20s murder mystery party. I love the color pink and wanted to have a different dress than most of the other attendants. I accomplished that with this dress. It was very different (obviously because hot pink was not really a color women in the 20s wore) and also very comfortable. I wear a size 6-8 and ordered the Med/Large it was WAY TOO BIG! I had it altered because the dress was WAY TOO CUTE for me not to wear and I didn't have time to return it. The Med/Large is more for someone who is probably an extra large. It also comes with two feathers and a head band. I didn't know it came with those and that was a wonderful surprise! I would highly recommend this to someone to likes to stand out and be different but also dress for the 20s!

Mixed feelings
I was nervous buying a costume on Amazon that was actually being sold by a third party. I trust Amazon with items but I was rightfully worried about the quality coming from an outside source. My item was the hot pink flapper dress in the medium/large size of 8-12, with pink and black feathered headband. The package arrived in a timely matter but when opened, it was clear that the costume package itself had been opened before. I did not buy a used costume, so I was nervous to see this. When opened, the dress was inside in fine condition (if slightly wrinkled from being repackaged in a messy way) but the headband was missing. Someone had obviously gotten this before me. Even if the headband had been there like it should have been I still probably would have returned it. The dress itself was much too big. I'm 5'4", usually a dress size 8 or a medium, so I thought the small wouldn't fit. The 8-12 size was like a tent on me though.

This costume from Amazon is great. But do not trust the sizing. I got the Medium which was suppose to be a size 8 - 12. The costume size was more like a 16 - 18. It was huge on me. I really wanted to exchange it for the smaller size but they do not allow exchanges on clothes. I had to return it. Amazon did give me my return shipping back and for that I give Amazon 10 stars.
