This was a geat costume for Willy Wonka Violet Beuregard Costume. We spray painted it violet blue and it worked perfectly.
Pumpkin costume a great hit
Our grandson said he wanted to be a pumpkin for Halloween. His aunt suggested several and we liked this one the best. Meanwhile, he told his friends at school, who seemed dubious about being a pumpkin rather than, say, a superhero. But when he showed up wearing the costume, they were really surprised, and his costume was one of the highlights of the day. People took photos everywhere he went.
The costume is inflated by a small fan. Although there were instructions, they only covered the opration of the fan itself (with no reference to the costume). It took a little while to find the pocket that holds the fan, but then it rapidly inflated. He was very pleased once it expanded to full size. Note: carry along extra batteries! The fan ran for hours, but eventually the batteries do run out.
Pumpkin costume
Just as cute as the photo. My son is 6 and it fit him pretty well. Bigger kids would probably have trouble fitting into the arm and leg holes which were pretty tight. Also the design didn't allow for good leg movement, so my son had a little trouble running from house to house as fast as he wanted - I suppose that made it easier for me to keep up :) I ended up pushing the bottom of the legs up to knee level - not worn as pants as shown in the photo. Still it was pretty restricting.
