Minor details make a major difference!!
I was ecstatic to be receiving this costume, as I've always wanted to be a ragdoll for Halloween. I have to say though, I wasn't very thrilled when I opened my package. It wasn't about the fit. I had ordered a medium (even though I fall in the sz 8-10 range) because going bigger with costumes is usually better. It fit me just right. The appearance of the costume itself is why this item doesn't get a 5-star review.

First off, I wish costume manufacturers would realize that just stuffing the costumes in their bags ruin them. Since this costume wasn't made with the smooth polyester but rather the scratchy kind (it sorta felt like the material used in closet organizers) it came out wrinkly. I didn't like seeing the fade spots on the blue portion either, makes it look cheap (my boyfriend is convincing me that it adds to the "ragdoll" appeal. Im unsure of that /:[) When I put the costume on I was kinda shocked to see how short and pouffy the dress actually was in comparison to...

Super cute costume
I received this today and think that it is a super cute costume. I've also tried on the blue one with the red polka dots, and this one looks so much better! The cap is stuffed to the max. I made a small cut on the inside of the cap and removed all of the stuffing. I also removed a layer of the bangs because they were too much! Be sure to cut on the side that lays against your forehead so that the front layer can cover where you cut. The costume is shorter than I thought it would be. I'm 5'7" and it barely covers my butt. Overall, it's a nice quality costume.

DO NOT ORDER THIS
Against my better judgement, after reading the reviews I ordered this costume thinking that sometimes people overreact and write worse reviews than they should. The photo looks so cute! This costume was a waste of my time. It's the worst quality I've ever seen-- I'm only 5' tall and it was way shorter than the photo. The hat is so small and overstuffed that there's no possible way it would stay or cover my hair. The apron is all flimsy, see through eyelet lace. The back of the bodice is completely see through. The blue of the dress is so discolored and faded that it looks like dark and light blue tie-dye. And, the stockings are a horrible burlap-like material. Unless you like wasting money and being uncomforable, don't bother!
