My Atlantis Queen Plus Adult Halloween costume arrived today and I have to say overall I am happy with it. It says it will fit a woman of 16W-24W but I think more likely 16W-20W or a tall woman with a small bust. The length and color were good. The fabric sleeves have two drape sections (one in front, one in back). The back fabric drapes can drape over your upper arm, which looks nice. The front ones just kind of hang there I guess to give it more of a flowing appearance when moving.
Not for big-busted women...
Pretty costume, not bad quality, but NOT made for big-busted women. The gold tie that ties around the dress was almost severed right in the middle, kind of hard to fix that. It was a nice costume in a pinch, but would not recommend it for anyone who is modest at all. I had to altar the dress to cover up myself, and that wasn't easy either, since there was no "give" in the breast area. Not bad for the price, but buyer beware...
Nice Costume
I really like the fabric that this costume is made out of. I felt beautiful wearing it! It doesn't feel cheap like some of the costumes you find in the Halloween stores. The size seems to fit up to about size 18, even though it is advertised as fitting up to size 24. It does depend on how you are proportioned as to the way it will fit. I wear a larger bra size, so the front of the costume dipped low when worn. I was wearing it to an office Halloween party, so my mom and I fashioned a nice cami for me to wear underneath it so it wouldn't be inappropriate for work. The color is beautiful. It was put together nicely, so I could wear it again for Halloween. It took me a while to find the right costume that didn't feel like I was wearing fabric as thin as a plastic bag. All in all, it was a great costume for the price tag. I would definitely recommend it!
