I think my baby looked super cute in this, especially because of the ears, which are floppy (they don't stand up straight like in the picture). She's 6 months old and I don't think an older baby would have fit in it because the neck space is pretty small by the time you get it snapped shut and the feet things are pretty small too.
Perfect for 1 month old's Halloween or Easter
We did an Alice and Wonderland theme with our older kids and this cape was perfect for that for my baby. The cape was much easier to manage than a classic bunting and though the material isn't perfect (it's similar to felt on the outside and slicker on the inside but not scratchy) it was perfect temp with a long sleeve sleeper underneath, not too hot or cold. I didn't really use the mittens or booties since the cape covers them up anyway on a smaller baby.
I agree with the other reviewers the ears are floppy (so they were only up for pics when she was laying down) and the neck is very tight (though perfect for my almost 9lb 1 month old I wouldn't button it on an older baby. But the costume is very cute and you can still use the cape unbuttoned for dress up afterwards and it's a great price. Overall I would definitely buy this again!
Good product, but slight problem...
There was one thing that I was not satisfied with. The ears wouldn't stand up straight as it looks in the picture. I tried 'fixing' it but it didn't make a difference.
