I bought this costume for my ten month old (to compliment his two-year-old shark brother). I purchased size 12-18 months and it was not at all too big. Runs a bit small. My baby has a monster head, but I think even an average head might not be accomidated by the small hood. He wore a red beanie and we pulle the hood up as high as it would go-- not even to his ears.
Got a LOT of compliments on the costme. I love it! Super warm and super cute!
Costume Contest Winner
We wrapped our six month old in this bunting costume, stuck him in our turkey fryer pot, and carried him around all night while my husband wore an apron and chef's hat and I wore a restaurant style lobster bib with crab crackers in hand. We were a hit! We can't take credit for the idea, but no one at our party had seen it. We won "most offensive costume" for portraying that we would eat our baby. That's the kind of prize you get when you are 33 and attend a Halloween party with all of your college friends!
Okay for money
Product was as described, and we liked it a lot, but the zipper broke almost immediately. Considering that this is a fairly important part of a costume, was very disappointed. Other than that, okay. We had to pay extra to have a tailor fix it in time for halloween.
