I'm glad I bought this despite the bad review I read on Amazon. The dress is adorable--the tail is a great touch. I am 5'3", size 10 and the large just fits so it runs small. A tall person would have to wear the pettticoat a little lower or wear black tights to keep it from being obscene. I added a long sleeve black T-shirt and black tights; the giant Mickey Mouse gloves (from Amazon); high pink platform shoes; and, of course, make-up with super long eyelashes. With the right accessories this dress makes a really cute costume.
Poor Quality
When this item arrived, I was disappointed by the poor quality of the costume. There is no real back closure to the costume, just a little piece of velcro that doesn't stick, I put in snaps that worked much better. The Petticoat that goes under the dress was awkward, it was an awkward length with the dress and was obviously very cheaply made, I ended up cutting the lace part of it along the bottom off and just sewing it to the dress itself and totally scrapping the rest of the petticoat. The ears and bow were not very well attached to the head band either, they had to be glued back on. All in all, I had to put a lot of effort into making this costume acceptable. Had I had time to get another costume, I would have returned this one, however I just fixed it the best I could and made due. Overall it was disappointing that I had to fix so much of a costume that should have already been ready to wear.
cute but not as long as the pic
This was a cute halloween costume. It served the purpose of depicting Minnie Mouse. It was very short and made a sparkle trail every where I went.
