This is too loose and baggy for someone that is short, but with an average build (definitely not skinny) and large bust. Sewing up the shoulders to adjust for height is not as big of a deal, but the width around is so baggy that lacing it as tight as possible would still make the garment baggy. It will require a lot of alteration to fit. The model must have the dress pinned at the back in order to fit like that. This would be great for larger women though, as you can lace it to adjust the size.
Since it doesn't even come with the chemise and requires a lot of alteration just to fit, this gets a low rating. It was at least a dress, the right color, and soft. The sizing is just way too vague.
NO CHEMISE!!!
I am so bummed. The only thing it said it didn't come with was the headband-it doesn't come with a dang chemise-damn it. My party is in 3 weeks and I have to order an additional part! Thanks for not clearly stating that I needed an additional piece. I normally spend 3x this amount of $ but I thought I would try this for my theme. Needless to say it is a mistake I will never do again.

This model must be a size -0 or have a super tight corset, because the actual costume didn't look anywhere near as good as this. The lacing does not give that effect at all. The material was very cheap looking. Sorry!
