It's a $12 wig so you definitely get what you pay for. It's plastic hair that shows through bald in the back sometimes but it served its purpose. I tried coming it out with a wide-toothed comb when I took it out of the package. That was a heinous mistake. I could have made a second wig with all of the hair that got ripped out. But I found that adding a little bit of Roman oil to the hair helps relax it. It smooths it down, relaxes the knots and makes them easier to come out. It certainly won't look like it does in the image but as long as you're not actually looking to buy it for the express purpose of having it look like real hair you should be good. It works well as part of a costume and I doubt anyone it going to judge you for not spending $1,000 on a wig you'll only wear once.
So yeah. It works. Just don't expect it to be of the highest quality because it certainly isn't.
