Don't bother. Don't waste your time or money on this one. Let's start with false advertising: there is nothing "suede" about this.... it's a very thin flannel. It looks just plain cheap. This is on it's way back to the distributor for a refund.

Not a jerkin I do not own one of these, but I would like to say that this is a doublet. A jerkin a leather fencing vest used as light armor whereas this is simply a sleveless doublet; i.e. a renaissance sleveless shirt.

Dumpy Beaver Costume Do you want to dress like a beaver that's down on his luck? Well, here's your chance. The facial expression on the product is exactly as portrayed in the picture and is quite comical.
Head piece is pillow like and very warm, while body is a bit more breathable, but still warm. Excellent for October nights. The eyes allow for decent sight for a mascot costume, especially for this price range.
The feet attach like spats over the shoes and are best if you pin them to the front of the legs to minimize movement.
The hands are sewn to the main body one piece suit and are one size fits most. A few safety pins shores them up for better fit and dexterity.
Overall, excellent costume. Product comes in a reusable zippered bag that is perfect for storage.
Great Quality This costume was so much better than I expected. The material is really high quality and rather warm and cuddly. It looks so great when on, and is very comfortable. I am so happy with this product. Also, the sizing for this was pretty vague so I guessed and hit the jackpot. I'm 5'10" with a 32" waist. I got the "Extra Large" and it fits like a glove.

About as expected I didn't have very high expectations for this product, since halloween costumes can be notoriously shoddy. The costume had deep creases from being folded into the package, though this isn't surprising. My main complaint is that the foam is very thin and floppy -- I ended up building a cardboard frame to hold the rainbow in a rainbow-like shape.

Ernie costume Bought this along with the Bert costume for my husband and I for halloween, to celebrate with our 2 year old daughter. They only had XL size left, which I purchased, and it seemed to fit fine (my husband is 6'1 and I am 5'3.) Although the heads were quite big, and kept falling forward, doesn't stay in one place. Have to kind of re-position the head while wearing it, which was a bit annoying, but maybe that's b/c I bought the XL size. But in the end we received many smiles and laughs wearing them, which is all we wanted.

Good fit, but requires accessories for full look This costume was great, but to get the full look, you have to purchase a wig and maybe a few other things. The outfit needs to be worn in relatively warm conditions, as a full breast is showing, and the skirt doesn't provide much warmth. For a good price, and with the right accessories though, this was a great purchase.

Great Costume I just received the legs and the hooves. They are both great, exactly what I thought they were going to be. Don't buy the legs with out the hooves, they really make it. I got it in black and the inside of the legs do have a little bit of a camo look to it but once you put them on, it isn't noticeable. They shipped out even faster than I expected them to.

Good and Not So Good Overall, this costume is OK. Shirt, scarf, and mask are fine. Hat is foam rubber and arrived badly misshapen. Belt/holster is thin vinyl and virtually useless. I guess you can't expect great quality for this price. If you can find a different cowboy hat and buy a cheap cap gun/holster from a discount store, you're OK.

Good quality and fit for a great price I bought this costume for a caveman-themed party and it was great! Shipping was super-fast and the costume is good quality, not cheap-feeling like some other reasonably priced costumes. I am tall (5' 10 1/2") and the costume fit me great--but I agree with the previous reviewer that it probably would be too big for a smaller person. The only problem I had with the costume is that the tube top was sewn wrong, but it wasn't a big deal because the fur tunic that goes over it covered up the flaw. Overall a quality costume that I was happy with.

Cheaply made and runs small I only gave the "Dreamgirl Hot On The Trail Native American Costume" purchase 2 stars for a few reasons. 1- The fake swede fabric was paper-thin. 2- The unfringed part of the dress is very short, bending over will boarder-line show your who-ha. I would have had to wear full but underwear but then you could see the lines through the thin fabric. 2- The dress did not hang well. Be warned, the dress runs small, I am 5'3 and 105 lbs, the small did not fit, it was like wearing a children's 14/16, it was not sown for adult women (hips, waist etc. see below). Because the dress was a little small, it's not that it was too tight, it did not hang well and bunched up after every three steps or so, which made the dress even shorter and unattractive because of the bunching. I felt like the wider behind part sat at my waist and the hip region of the dress sat at my waist. 3- The dress is completely one toned BROWN, there is no alternate texture, it is very brown. slightly on the short side I ordered this for a costume party. I'm 5'5 and average size, and ordered a medium (8-10) in size. I would say I am a little generous in the butt, and my cheeks were about even with the edge of the fabric when I wasn't moving about. I ended up using the dress as a partial skirt and pairing it with a corset. I suggest that, or wearing shorts or leggings underneath. The fabric is stretchy, and it comes with everything in the picture. I was worried that they wouldn't be as good a quality as the picture shows, I was surprised and glad to say I was wrong.

Ho Ho Ho...I'm Santa? Overall this thing makes you look like Santa. And if that's all you want, then mission accomplished. However, if you're looking for a really good quality suit at an affordable price, well then you're only getting one of those. The hat that came with my suit had a pink color all over the white fluffy part and the tip. The gloves are pretty good, but a little bit small. The top is nice and a good fit for the Santa look. The belt is really cheap- the hole will expand very easily from the buckle after the first wear. The boot covering that come with the suit are the worst. Throw those away and get yourself a good pair of Santa boots. Oh and there is no wig, so you gotta buy one of those separately. If anything, use this suit as a foundation to make a better Santa costume. Hope this helped!
Family Santa I bought this suit for having fun with the family on Christmas day. I'm not going to say that it is the best santa's suit ever, but it filled its purpose very nicely and I had a ball. Now it is there... waiting for next Christmas. All things considered, it was worth it.

USED!? California Costumes Rag Doll Dress Navy/White 11-13 I was looking forward to this costume. Haven't really had any issues with Amazon products until now. I ordered this as new, not used. This product has orange makeup caked along the straps & black smudges. They will not come out with spot cleaning (cleaning directions stated on tag). I took a picture but I don't see were to upload a photo. Also the black part of the dress doesn't come with it. I thought it was attached as part of the dress but I guess it's a separate petticoat piece.
Very Cute I order this from Amazon, I had a problem with the order and returned it - Amazon is great with customer services, especially on returns. They paid for the shipping and even scheduled the UPS pickup, and I got my refund instantly. I never have a headache with purchases or returns with Amazon (and trust me, I have done both many, MANY times!). Anyway, despite having returned this to Amazon - I did purchase the same product again. Keep in mind that Amazon doesn't manufacture these products, and most of the times (other than books, videos, audio, and digital downloads) Amazon is also not the direct merchant, but the middle man - but buying directly from Amazon as the seller gives you certain security when buying; like stress-free returns!

Not exactly the same, little small I ordered the dress in what I thought was one size up, but it just barely fits, especially over my chest. No zipper or elastic, and no stretch. The elastic on the arms is really tight on me, but I do have big arms. The sleeves are separate from the dress.
The dress also does not match exactly. the sleeves are much more slender, the bows are thinner (~1 inch wide), the shape is not as poofy with a petticoat. I don't think it has enough material to be that poofy. The part that goes around the back of the skirt with the two bows doesn't go as far forward as this dress shows. The top layer of the skirt part also doesn't seem to lay flat, and it is one layer with two strings of lace, not two layers as pictured. Also the bows do not look tied, they are sewn into bow shape. I may replace the bows at some point with cuter, fuller ones.

Poor customer service for a good product. The product was fine. However, I cannot rate the vendor as well as the merchendise. Shortly after ordering the costume we discovered we were going to be unable to use it. When I called to return it, I discovered that the return policy for this product did not permit a return. However, I asked to speak to a manager in order to request an exception since the costume was purchased for a fundraising event for a school library. This all occurred after Halloween. we were trying to return it since any expense would come out of the money we were trying to make for the school. I was shuffled through three operators only to be given the email for an individual who could supposedly make the final decision. It has been over a month and I have yet to here a response from them. I am not claiming they should have given me a return, I know I was requesting an exception to the rule. However, the lack of response speaks volumes about the management. At a minimum, you answer your customers...

Good looking, sizing is tough. I liked the look of this product and the feel was nice as well. The craftsmanship was good compared to most costumes you find at the stores. The only issue I had with this product was the sizing. "one size fits most adults" is not a proper sizing tool and did not work in my case. I am of average height. I am slim muscular build and the top part of the costume didn't come down to my waist. It should have not only come to my waist but provided some overlap with the pants.
All in all the costume will be okay if you are shorter, then the pants may be a little long, or if you find a shirt that is a close match to the costume so you can blend the mid section.
Please put a real sizing chart or measurements on the page.

Functional Overall the costume is as advertised. I purchased the XL version. The headpiece is a flexible plastic/rubber with fake hair in two pieces on each side. It uses elastic to hold it in place. A little tight but I have a large head. The gloves are are a poly stretch material and rather cheap looking (did not use them as they were ill fitting.) The smock is just that. A pull over smock with printed decals. It fit fine and was fairly true to size (I have 46 inch shoulders and it was just big enough to allow movement). It sufficed for my purposes and time constraints, but you could easily assemble a better version of this by picking up individual items (wig, gloves smock/lab coat) and building it yourself.

Unexpected I have not been to a costume party/dinner for many years so when the opportunity arose this past Halloween, I said to myself "Why not?". I looked around for ideas and even went to a large local costume store plus a lot of on-line shopping. Everything I looked at seemed flimsy, especially the ones I tried on at the local shop. I settled on this one because it advertised as being a true X-large size (I'm a 48 chest) and the ones at the local shop were all too tight. I am really glad I made this selection. When it arrived and I opened the heavy box, I was pleasantly surprised. For just over $30, the costume was made of substantial material with detailed and realistic trimmings including the built-in velvet mantel.....I did add (at some additional cost)a hood and a half-face mask from another source to complete the look I wanted. Very authentic, I went to a party with it and the party was in a non heated garage and everyone was cold but I was not cold at all it was very comfortable and also works great for hiding beers in your long sleeves. High Quality, Great Price I got this costume on sale at a local Spencer's Gifts years ago. The robe fabric is surprisingly heavy (not paper-thin and flimsy that exposes you in the wrong places), and the top part is an equally heavy velvet. The elbows have an elasticity around them which enables the lower, draping arm sleeve to hang right. My only gripe about the costume is not being able to take the velvet vertical decorative stripe down the front of the costume and the velvet mantle off when I need to! :)

Too Funny! I bought this as a Christmas present -- yes, someone's Christmas list actually had a "Chiquita Banana hat" on it. The person making the request is way too young to know who Carmen Miranda is, but I knew immediately and thus started my quest to find a reasonably priced hat.
The base of the hat is slightly stretchy, and it is a snug fit on a larger head but not uncomfortably snug. I could see this fitting someone with a smaller head as well because of the stretch factor. The two-tone sequins (red and purple) create a perfectly silly but joyful base for the real stars of the show: the glitter fruits. The grapes on this hat do not drape as much as shown in the picture, but maybe that's because the person here who was wearing it has a larger head. The glitter did not come off excessively even though it was handled a whole lot the first day, but the feathers at the top rear are a bit touchy and have the tendency to fall off. Good The hat was what I expected, except the grapes don't hang as much as in the photo. The only issue I had was that the seam of the hat had started to come undone, so I had to sew it.
Saucy Hat I used this hat for a theatre production. I hurriedly put it on over 15 times without tearing all the fruit off. Although it was designed for "costume use" it really held up pretty well considering the abuse it took and looked sparkly and pretty under the stage lights. I am saving it for future costume use. It is made of synthetic fabric so it's really hot to wear.

Non-sexy Ladybug costume was a huge success This was a very fun costume. I purchased a black long sleeved shirt and some black tights to go with it, and used a pillow in the front to round it out. The wings did not stick out like they do in the photo, but it was still a costume hit at the party. I also painted my face and neck all red with black polka dots.

great costume I am a size 8 and I got the s/m and it fit perfectly. the headband stays on well.I have a longer torso and the waist of the dress seemed higher on me than in the picture. I wear a petticoat under it and a little low to make up for it. and its works great. fish/fence nets are a must and really bring it together.

Great! This costume is not too revealing or too conservative. It brings clear straps which attach to the dress if you need more support, the sleeves, dress, choker, and crown headband. It's perfect. The quality was pretty good and the fit true to size (I'm 5'2 and ~130 lbs; bought a small/medium). I would highly recommend this costume.

Fits great, adjustable, not too revealing I was invited to a big princess and pirate party, and wanted an outfit that didn't cost too much and wasn't too revealing. I had a hard time finding a girl pirate costume that I could wear out in public. Many were just too scandalous. Others were pretty pricey. This one adjusts to various shapes, was comfortable to wear and looked good. Added some nice dark makeup around the eyes and it was perfect.

Cute!! I purchased this for my daughter for Halloween. The sizing appears to be fairly accurate. The material is nice (do not wash it with other clothes, you will ruin them!) and survived a trip through my washer and dryer. The only downside is that it is REALLY low cut. If you are an adult and do not mind cleavage, then this would be great. For a younger person (pre-teen, teen) you will need to find something go go underneath. Other than it being low-cut I would recommend it to others.
Costume Review This costume is awesome, its really great for tall people like me. I definitely say that its true to size as per California Costumes sizing chart. I do wish it had more red but I think overall its a great costume that has potential for other ideas.
